A Two Minute Podcast?
A two minute podcast? Who doesn't have time for that? Join Scott Gravitt as he shares the trailer for his Two of Every Kind podcast. That's two minutes on every kind of Bible topic - short, spiritual insights to prompt a deeper walk with the Lord.
A lot can happen in two minutes.
The Kentucky Derby has been labeled, "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports"
When Abraham Lincoln delivered The Gettysburg Address it took him about two minutes.
Consider your everyday life; two minutes can be of great benefit: whether it’s brushing your teeth, heating up a meal, or tucking in your children.
But SPIRITUALLY speaking, JUST two minutes can be, extremely valuable.
Picture… the expressions of thanks before a meal; they’re usually relatively short.
Two minutes equates to reading roughly 15 bible verses out loud, which is significant, because many of the profound teachings of Jesus are based around events that only took a few minutes.
There… was the occasion when an adulterous woman was brought to Jesus and He said, “he who is without sin cast the first stone”. Another time Jesus went into a synagogue and He rebuked his audience, and they became so infuriated they wanted to throw Him off a cliff. Yet another time in contrast, His future disciple Nathanael was shown evidence resulting in his complete belief that Jesus is the Messiah… ALL of these events can be read in under two minutes, yet their lessons are timeless.
Now, I can’t possibly exhaust an entire subject in a mere couple of minutes, but I don't think it has to take up a lot of your time to challenge you in productive and constructive ways.
These episodes may touch a nerve, but they also may prompt you to dig deeper and build and strengthen your faith.
This podcast is designed to point you toward the God who loves you, and it has been created for your busy life.
So, I hope despite its short duration, it will provoke thoughtful meditation.
